The Pinker Tones
Love Tape & Karma Hunters
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please allow me to introduce The Pinker Tones, AKA Professor Manso and Mr Furia, two colourful and extremely entertaining characters who hail from Barcelona. Prepare to don your thickest UV lenses as the duo unleash their delirious second album, 'The Million Colour Revolution', a sizzling cornucopia of quirky pop, electro, funk and salsa.
Mix kitsch elevator music with Marlene Dietrich sipping a Martini in one of South Beach's finest Art Deco establishments, throw in the whole cast of The Muppets on acid, stick it all into a blender and you'd be pretty close to The Pinker's' tones!
The Pinker Tones' entertaining MTV videos, combined with their amazing DJ/Band live shows have built-up an enviable world-wide buzz.
The new album, 'The Million Colour Revolution' is the musical equivalent of a small child being allowed some 'creative time' with a box of felts and your cream walls. Infusing skittering dance rhythms with acid-washed guitars and mantra-like refrains The Pinker Tones 'Million Colour Revolution' will have you dancing around until your mum has to come and collect you early because you were violently sick all over the bouncy castle.
Check out these two videos. The first being 'Love Tape' which was directed by Ross Harris (Beck/Har Mar Superstar).
