Phenomenal Handclap Band's new single, The Right One, will be released on February 27th, through Tummy Touch. The single is taken from their new album, Form & Control, which will be released on February 13th 2012.
The psychedelic nature of the video for The Right One will not disappoint fans of The Phenomenal Handclap Band. Trippy visuals see each member of the band multiplied in black and white whilst also being interspersed with truly weird and wonderful sights.
The Phenomenal Handclap Band is a collective of musicians from Brooklyn. Many have had previous experience playing with other artists such as Amy Winehouse and TV on the Radio. Their eponymous debut album was released in June 2009 to positive reviews. Many critics were left impressed by the band's unique fusion sound. Their debut single, 15 to 20, was equally well received.
The Phenomenal Handclap Band has an ever changing line up but at the centre are DJs and producers Daniel Collas and Sean Marquand. In 2010, they were joined by Laura Marin (lead vocals), Quinn Luke (guitar, vocals), Patrick Wood (drums, vocals), Jason Roberts (lead guitar) and Emily Panic (bass).
