The Parlotones have axed their upcoming tour so their frontman can undergo throat surgery.
The South African rockers have gone on hiatus, putting all upcoming shows and promotional activities on hold, due to singer Kahn Morbee's vocal troubles.
He is due to undergo surgery and the band hopes to bounce back once he has recovered.
A statement posted on their official website reads, "The Parlotones confirmed today that they have with deep regret had to postpone all performance dates and promotional activities indefinitely. The band has been forced to postpone the remainder of their Unplugged Winter Tour due to vocal cord damage lead singer Kahn Morbee has experienced recently. He will be undergoing surgery to repair the current issues with his vocal cords and new tour dates will be announced once surgery in the coming days has taken place and rehabilitation has commenced."
