LATEST: The Offspring rocker Dexter Holland has explained his move to use GUNS N' ROSES' album title for his band's upcoming release - Axl Rose copied his hairstyle.

The PRETTY FLY FOR A WHITE GUY stars were sent a cease-and-desist letter from Guns N' Roses' lawyers over plans to call their album CHINESE DEMOCRAZY (YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE).

NOVEMBER RAIN rockers Guns N' Roses have been working on their much-anticipated album, also called CHINESE DEMOCRAZY, for more than eight years.

But Offspring insist they will keep the CD's name - and have plans to release it in the summer (03). Now, on the Offspring's website, Holland has taken the opportunity to explain his decision - and it's all about hair.

He writes, "Axl ripped off my braids, so I ripped off his album title."

Guns N' Roses have yet to announce a release date for their album.
