The Music have confirmed a brand new series of additions to their October tour.

The Leeds quartet have announced eight English shows to precede their already-confirmed concerts in Scotland and London.

The tour now kicks off on October 11th in Whitehaven before eventually moving to Scotland and concluding at the Roundhouse in north London on October 29th.

This announcement follows the foursome's sold-out UK headline shows as well as their well-received sets at T In The Park, Reading and Leeds.

Rob Harvey and co have also announced that new single Drugs goes on sale on October 13th, the third release from their most recent album Strength In Numbers.

The tour dates are as follows:

11th October - Whitehaven, Civic Hall
12th October - Scarborough, Vivaz
14th October - Huddersfield, University
15th October - Coventry, Kasbah
16th October - Middlesbrough, Arena
18th October - Holmfirth, Picture Dome
19th October - Keele, University
20th October - Preston, 53 Degrees
22nd October - Inverness, Iron Works
23rd October - Dunfermline, Kinema
25th October - Dundee, Fat Sams
26th October - Aberdeen, Moshulu
27th October - Edinburgh, Picture House
29th October - London, The Roundhouse

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 9.00am on Friday 12th September and are priced at £13.
