Ahead of the release of their upcoming EP 'Gotta Good Man' due out on November 5th 2012 through Rum Circus Records, rock sextet The Murder Barn unveil the gritty, crime thriller-esque video for the title track.
The vid features a faceless man grabbing a shower, dressing himself up in a shirt and jacket and heading out in his car. We later see a group of guys gambling what looks like a lot of money in a visibly illegal poker game complete with a variety of drugs and several glasses of JD. The faceless driver bursts into the dingy den and wastes no time shooting the gang dead before pocketing the money scattered across the table and meeting up with his girlfriend whereby they appear to be getting out of the city to make a life for themselves. It's a dramatic visual story for a dramatic song, though The Murder Barn haven't exactly found public interest with an affinity for nice, tender tunes. There are quiet moments and louder moments on this hard-hitting rock song but all the way through it's safe to say that Chesca Dolecka's flawless vocals shape the eeriness and originality of their sound.
Chesca, Becca Grover Jones, Matt Jones, Kevin Feazey, Ryan Wilson and Velibor Krstic make up the artistically motivated six piece who have been making music together and designing artwork for a year in a home-built studio also known as 'The Murder Barn'.
