The Kissaway Trail, La La Song Single Review

The Kissaway Trail
La La Song
Single Review

Danish quintet, The Kissaway Trail have been garnering some small but significant airplay of late, since the release of their self-titled debut LP. The La La Song is one of the highlights, an Arcade Fire style stomper with a bit more kick to it than some of the more limp outings on the album.

It is, much like the rest of the album, rather derivative, and the lyric 'Let's rock them around in L.A.' is really beyond reproach, but on the whole it is an enormously fun slice of pop-rock that lives longer in the memory than most of the singles you'll hear this month. Worth a listen.
