A stage adaptation of Disney's classic 1996 animated film The Hunchback of Notre Dame is set to debut in the U.S. in October (14).
The Oscar-nominated film, based on Victor Hugo's novel of the same name, has been turned into a musical which is slated to open at the La Jolla Playhouse in California on 26 October (14) for a limited two-week run.
The musical, which features songs from Disney composers Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, debuted in Germany in 1999 but has been re-written by Peter Parnell.
