'Generator', deemed as possibly the track of the year, a triumph in the eyes of the Radio One crew and what is genuinely a fun track, is destined to make The Holloways a colossal band. It's light-hearted, it's bubbly, it's lively and in the current music scene it has come as somewhat a breath of fresh air. Surprisingly it's not all that technical; in fact it's quite the opposite. It's a simple tune with very simple lyrics that, in turn, help to make it so damn catchy.
'Generator' would probably most remind you of one of those really hilarious and incredibly addictive jingles off the TV. It's the conviction of the words 'I can get a record player.and a generator.generate the music that makes you feel better' that makes it so damn funny. They're incredibly ridiculous lyrics but hey it's the 21st century. It's one of those tracks that you'll find yourself frantically dancing to in the office, looking like an absolute twat, but at the same time you don't have to worry about it because the rest of the office are likely to be doing the same. It's a feel good, summery anthem with a great balance between light-hearted humour and sheer musical genius. Come on the Holloways!
