The Ghosts' second single, Ghosts, will be released on 9th April, 2012, on Pocket Records. Their debut album, The End, will be released on April 16th, 2012.
The video for Ghosts was directed by Alex Kyrou. Singer songwriter Alex Starling is seen lying on a gurney, while doctors attach wires to him. When they leave the room, Alex is haunted by ghosts that disappear when the light comes back on. The end of the video sees Alex overcoming his fear of The Ghosts and freeing himself from the wires.
Alex Starling is formerly of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool. The band split in 2010, after frontman Charles Haddon committed suicide after performing a set at Pukkelpop Festival in Europe. The Ghosts also features: Ian Palmer (Drums); Dan Whiffin (Guitars) and Alex Sharman (Keys).
Their debut single Enough Time was a critical success and was supported by radio stations 6Music and XFM. The band have also worked with producer Tim Bran on their debut album. Tim Bran has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney; La Roux and The Charlatans.
