Rapper 40 Glocc has stepped up his legal battle with The Game by demanding $4.5 million (£2.8 million) in damages over their alleged 2012 fight.

The hip-hop star, real name Tory Gassway, has filed a lawsuit against The Game, also known as Jayceon Taylor, claiming he was subjected to a beating from the rapper and his entourage in Los Angeles last July (12).

The alleged altercation, which was caught on camera, reportedly left Gassway with injuries to his right eye, ribs, kidneys and back, and he has now filed legal papers setting out his demand for damages, which includes $25,000 (£15,625) for medical expenses, $500,000 (£312,500) for pain and suffering, and $750,000 (£468,750) in lost earnings.

The total claim for damages amounts to in excess of $4.5 million (£2.8 million), according to Tmz.com.
