The Fast And The Furious star shared a heartbreaking black and white photograph of himself holding his mother Priscilla's hand on Instagram on Tuesday (08Dec15), as she fights for life in hospital, according to TMZ.com.
"Praying over every breath she takes," he wrote in the caption. "Our family needs you like never before... Our beloved mother - she's all we have... #PrayerWarriors we welcome your most sincere prayers..."
Reports suggest Priscilla is on a ventilator in a Los Angeles hospital and Tyrese, 36, shared the image just hours after it was revealed he had won a lawsuit against a woman who he claimed took advantage of his mum.

The movie executives behind The Fast And The Furious franchise are eyeing an eighth and ninth installment of the high-octane films.
Lucas Black, the star of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, has signed on to appear in the seventh movie, due out next year (14), and the casting news suggests he'll be onboard for the eighth and ninth films too, according to TheWrap.com.
Representatives for Universal have yet to confirm the additional installments, but franchise star and producer, Vin Diesel, revealed in February (13) that he would only do a seventh film if it was part of a new trilogy.

DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON scared off a gang of would-be thieves on the set of his latest film.
The 40-year-old actor spotted a group of youths breaking into a warehouse in Hackney, East London while filming 'The Fast And The Furious 6' and stormed off the set mid-scene - dressed in full FBI agent costume - to chase the burglars away.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''It was so funny. The Rock looked like an action hero because he had his flak jacket on and an FBI badge in his hand.

The wrestler known as The Rock is said to have caught sight of a group trying to break into vans containing expensive equipment during the shoot in Hackney, east London.
Johnson, who was reportedly dressed as an Fbi agent for the filming, sprang into action and charged at the gang - forcing them to flee.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "It was so funny. The Rock looked like an action hero because he had his flak jacket on and an Fbi badge in his hand. All of a sudden there was loads of gunfire and this giant dressed as a copper (police officer) was about to mow them down. The lads jumped out of their skin and scarpered (ran off) down the canal path and left the crew in peace. Now the crew are joking that they should drop security and just have The Rock do it."

The unnamed husband and wife from London are suing over claims they negotiated a deal with Yune, who played gang leader Johnny Tran in the 2001 blockbuster, to buy 10 Hermes Birkin handbags in October 2011.
According to the new lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the plaintiffs allege they wired $198,000 (£124,000) for the first eight bags, and promised to pay him another $95,000 (£59,000) for the final two accessories upon delivery.
The couple claims the purses were never received and Yune failed to return the cash, but a spokesperson for the star has denied their allegations - insisting the bags were delivered to one of the pair's employees, who may have taken them.

Dwayne Johnson is in the final stage of negotiations to replace Brendan Fraser in the 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' sequel.
The 38-year-old actor is replacing Brendan Fraser in the family action movie, entitled 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.
Fraser decided not to return after failing to reach a deal on the start date of the movie, leading to studio New Line searching for a new actor - with Johnson in final negotiations.

It has been confirmed that Lost star Michelle Rodriguez will appear in Fast and the Furious 4.
Rodriguez will join other original cast members from the first Fast and Furious film, released in 2001.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster are all due to appear in the fourth instalment of the franchise.
The reported theme for the film will follow a similar path as the other movies, with Walker's character infiltrating a drug gang, where he is joined by Diesel, with large amounts of high-powered cars street racing inevitably ensuing.
Justin Lee, who directed the third film, The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift, is set to direct and the script is to be written by Chris Morgan, who also worked on Tokyo Drift.
2 Fast 2 Furious, the second film in the series was released in 2003 with Paul Walker, but without Diesel or Rodriguez.
The third instalment, released in 2006, moved the story to Tokyo and starred Lucas Black.
Fast and the Furious 4 is scheduled for release next summer.
