The 24-year-old royal revealed her grandmother is ''very supportive'' of her as she prepares to scale Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the French Alps, in aid of her new charity initiative Big Change, and she praised the monarch after she recently appeared to Parachute into the Olympic Stadium as part of the London 2012 opening ceremony.
When asked if the queen knows about Beatrice's forthcoming challenge, she said: ''She does and she too is very supportive. She is an incredible woman.''

Sarah Ferguson - the ex-wife of Prince Andrew and mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - visited the orphanage near Ankara while making a film for the 'ITV Tonight' show in 2008 and while aTurkish court plans to prosecute her for going ''against the law in acquiring footage and violating privacy'' of five children, she says she was just trying to raise awareness of the issue.
Sarah was represented in court yesterday (04.05.12) by her lawyer Cansu Sahin and her spokesman said: ''The court wasn't in possession of the full facts. Her legal team have explained that she didn't produce the documentary, she was just a contributor.

Fergie took off to the jungles of Kamala after learning she would not be invited to the big royal affair in April (11), but still managed to offer up hat advice to her youngest daughter on the day of the wedding.
She recalls, "She sent me a photograph and I said to the make-up artist, 'I think we need some scissors.' She said, 'I don't think we can do anything'. I said, 'Yes you can, cut it!' So I was cutting it from Thailand. (The plume feathers) were a little bit too long."
But the Duchess didn't get a chance to see her eldest daughter Beatrice's much-maligned Philip Treacy hat before the wedding itself: "I didn't see the hat, which arrived at quarter to eight on the wedding day... (but) Philip Treacy did a very good job... and I thought they (both) looked beautiful."

Speaking on the show, she said: "I don't really understand finances at all ... At the moment I'm just worried about paying off people that need to be paid off. There's three firms and three personal friends."

Sarah Ferguson thinks Duchess Catherine would have been the daughter the late Princess Diana always wanted if she was still alive.
The Duchess Of York - who wasn't invited to the April 29 nuptials of Catherine and Diana's son Prince William - believes the late royal would have been "best friends" with her daughter-in-law if she was still alive.
She said: "They would have been best friends, she would have been delighted because she got her daughter. She always wanted to have a little girl, and to share clothes and things, and she would have had her daughter-in-law."

Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton will be carried from Westminster Abbey to their wedding reception at Buckingham Palace in a horse drawn carriage.
The 1902 State Landau coach - which was also used by William's parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana at their 1981 wedding - will take the bride and groom from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace, where their wedding celebrations will continue on April 29.
There will be five horse-drawn carriages in the Carriage Procession, with the second and third carriages taking the Best Man- William's brother, Harry - the Maid of Honour, Kate's sister Pippa and her bridesmaids.
