British rockers The Darkness have good and bad news for fans - they've finished their second album, but predict it could take seven months to think up a name for it.

The I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE hitmakers have been busy putting the finishing touches to their eagerly-awaited second record, with the help of Shania Twain's producer husband ROBERT 'MUTT' LANGE.

But the group - led by JUSTIN HAWKINS - have yet to come up with the perfect moniker for their new longplayer.

Guitarist Dan Hawkins explains, "It's gonna take a while. The last title took about seven months to chose, I think. So seven months of sheer hell. It looks promising though."

Bassist Frankie Poullain adds, "There's an old title that keeps on asserting itself, and that's, three words, SHORT FAT CO*K.

"As we don't know the length of the album yet we may have to just sit on that one. Not sit on it literally, of course… that could be quite painful."
