The producer of The Darkness' new album is so confident of its success, he has told the band to order sports cars for themselves.

ROY THOMAS BAKER is thrilled with the work he has done with the band on their follow-up to 2003 debut LP PERMISSION TO LAND - and is convinced it will be a success.

According to NME.COM, Baker told frontman Justin Hawkins, his guitarist brother DAN, bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer ED GRAHAM to order BENTLEYs.

But a source adds, "Justin is thought to prefer a LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH built in the year of his birth."
