The Dark Knight star Aaron Eckhart refused to halt filming when he broke his arm during the making of his new movie Battle: Los Angeles - as he wanted the painful moment to be caught on camera.
The actor slipped and fell while trying to pull off an ill-advised stunt, and even though he knew he had snapped a bone, he put up with the pain and carried on acting.
Eckhart didn't see a doctor about his broken arm until after the movie had wrapped, and admits he is glad the incident made it into the final cut of the film.
He explains, "I heard it break and I said to the director, 'Don't cut,' and finished the scene. It's actually in the movie.
"I finished the movie, never missed a minute of work, I went to the hospital two days later, never had a cast on it."
