The much-anticipated paperback edition of The Da Vinci Code will soon be on store shelves in the US and booksellers are bracing themselves for record-setting sales figures. The paperback version of the best-seller will be released on 28 March (06) and US bookstore chain Barnes and Noble has reported it has already made the largest buy of any one book in the last twenty years. The hugely successful novel by Dan Brown will inundate outlets in the US and will also be available in drugstores, supermarkets, convenience stores and fast food chains. The big screen version of the novel starring Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou and SIR Ian McKellen, will hit movie screens on 19 May (06) in the US.
