British rockers The Coral nearly disbanded in 2005 after becoming jaded with the music industry. The Liverpool, England group formed in 1996 but nearly ended their successful career nine years later as the novelty of touring and chart success began to wear off. Singer James Skelly says, "I think everyone discussed it (splitting the band up) separately. I thought to myself, 'We could walk away here with a good thing.' "It's crushing when you think about it. But it's reality, isn't it. I think you need it to happen to remind you of how much you love it (being in the band)." The group are currently touring with the Arctic Monkeys.
