A music video for The Bullitts' track, 'Weirdo', stars Grey' Anatomy star Jesse Williams and French actress Elisa Lasowski. Written and produced by The Bullitts, the video is a short film about two people, initially with paper bags over their heads, meeting and falling in love over a picnic, before conducting a robbery in a small corner shop. Speaking about Weirdo Jeymes said: "Weirdo is a manifestation of the images in my head. I imagine all of us hide our real faces in one way or another. The ending is just the way my brain works... When I see a beautiful image, I have to get Hitchcockian with it."
The Bullitts' new single 'Landspeeder' will be released on August 1st, via Outfit Music Group. It is the second single from their upcoming album, 'They Die By Dawn and Other Short Stories', following their debut, 'Close Your Eyes'.
The Bullitts is a multimedia project formed by Jeymes Samuel, combining music with Twitter and YouTube. His debut album, 'They Die by Dawn and Other Short Stories', is a concept album, telling the story of Amelia Sparks, a woman who is on Death Row. Throughout the album, Amelia is narrated by 'Charlie's Angels' star Lucy Liu, who frequently updates, as Amelia, on The Bullitts' Twitter page. Other collaborations include The Wire's Idris Elba, who plays a detective, Saul Emmanuel; as well as Mos Def, Jay Electronica and Tori Amos, a singer who is notorious for refusing to collaborate with other artists.
