Adele Likes 'Katy Perry's Boobs'

Adele Katy Perry Lady GaGa The Bravery

Adele likes seeing "Katy Perry's boobs and bum" and is a fan of pop stars who flaunt their bodies.

The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer enjoys watching the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer - who is famous for her skin-tight latex outfits - perform and admires The Bravery of female artists who are prepared to flash their flesh on stage but insists it's not for her.

She said: "I love seeing Lady GaGa's boobs and bum and I love seeing Katy Perry's boobs and bum. Love it. But that's not what my music is about. I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears."

Kylie Minogue Andres Velencoso The Bravery

Kylie Minogue says her family got her through her cancer battle.

The 'All The Lovers' hitmaker was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005 and while she successfully fought the illness, she wouldn't have been able to do it with the support of her loved ones.

When she was congratulated on her "brave" battle with the disease by interviewer Molly Meldrum on Australian TV show 'Sunday Night', Kylie said: "You might have seen The Bravery. I don't think the public saw... well, I stayed indoors. My family got me through really rotten, dark moments."

V Kicks Off In The Sunshine

By on 18 August 2007

Amy Winehouse Bright Eyes Foo Fighters Happy Mondays Jarvis Cocker Just Jack Kasabian Primal Scream T In The Park The Bravery The Killers The Kooks

V festival 2007 kicked off in Essex and Staffordshire today, with fans enjoying a happily rain-free start to the two-day event.

The festival has been hit by a number of big-name withdrawals, with Amy Winehouse, The Bravery and Bright Eyes among those to have pulled out – an inconvenience to the organisers betrayed by the fact that Saturday's set-list was the 17th version to be printed.

But with Just Jack and the Proclaimers starting things off at the Hylands Park, Chelmsford, venue and Rodrigo Y Gabriella raising the curtain at Weston Park, things have got off to a promising start.

Foo Fighters headline the V stage in Essex, while Jarvis Cocker and Primal Scream bring a retro feel to the JJB Arena as The Kooks and Happy Mondays are the top acts on the Channel 4 stage.

In Staffordshire, The Killers, Kasabian and Iggy and the Stooges will pull in the biggest crowds, before the acts swap venues for Sunday.

Among festival-goers, V is rated as both the cleanest and the most commercial – a reputation perhaps cemented by the Sloggi stage complete with semi-clad guys and gals dancing in the sunshine. "S – L – O – G – G – I, you can be my guy", anyone?

After the mud of Glastonbury and the rain at T In The Park, the weather looks like it is going to hold out for the weekend and festival director Bob Angus expects big things.

"V festival 2007 hosts a simply mind-blowing lineup," he said.

"Ranging from musical legends to complete newcomers, this really is a festival that caters for everyone."

Channel 4 will be screening highlights of the festival's best bits all weekend.

V Festival Shuffles Line-up

By on 17 August 2007

Amy Winehouse Babyshambles Bright Eyes Foo Fighters Happy Mondays Jarvis Cocker Kanye West Kasabian Primal Scream Snow Patrol The Bravery The Coral The Killers The Kooks

V Festival organisers are busy trying to shuffle the line-up for this year's event after high-profile pulls-outs from Amy Winehouse, Bright Eyes and The Bravery.

After it was revealed that Mexican acoustic duo Roderigo Y Gabriela would be playing a mammoth four times over the weekend to replace Bright Eyes, the schedulers must now find a headline act to fill Winehouse's shoes.

V Festival kicks-off this Saturday, running simultaneously at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire.

According to the NME, it looks likely that the Happy Mondays will be moving from the JJB/Puma Arena to cover for Winehouse on the Channel 4 Stage.

But this means the 'triple gig' of Jarvis Cocker, Happy Mondays and Primal Scream is now also disrupted, and another act is required for the JJB/Puma Arena.

There are other large acts that could make the step-up, with Babyshambles, Kanye West and The Coral all capable of adopting a headline slot.

However, due to this summer's hectic festival season, many artists will be making a move to another event fairly quickly.

A spokeswoman for V Festival said that they were "going through the processes" and that the new line-up would be announced soon.

Over 100 artists are set to play this year's V Festival with acts including Kasabian, Iggy and the Stooges, The Killers, Primal Scream, The Kooks, the Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol.
