Everyones favourite Welsh lads, The Blackout have launched a kickstarter campaign for the forthcoming release of EP 'Wolves' due out this Autumn.
It's been a turbulent 18 months in camp Blackout including their album tour being postponed due to a sudden and shocking neurological issue with singer Gavin Butler. Coupled with some other major issues that might cripple most bands, but not The Blackout.
Forthcoming EP 'Wolves' was "born from the previous, frustrating year" says Gavin Butler. "It took a lot of determination and sacrifice to pick ourselves up, get out of debt and carry on with The Blackout. The main reason this happened was our vision for 'Wolves'. Writing these songs not only gave us a way to vent our frustrations but gave us a fresh fervor for making music and the much needed awakening to the fact that we all love being a band. So we thought, fuck this, lets take back control."
The band previously did a similar campaign for the release of 'Hope', which the band will forever be grateful for. "We called on the trust and dedication of our fans to help get our album 'Hope' made. Without them it would not of happened. Just like then, without the fans, 'Wolves', won't see the light of day."
