Ratings for Thursday's Game 2 of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers were again far behind last year's Game 2 between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. The game averaged just 11.71 million viewers, versus 18.90 for Game 2 of the 2009 Series. The final half-hour of Thursday night's game attracted just 10.65 million viewers. Still, that was a whole lot more than the 3.81 million who tuned in for NBC's The Apprentice during the same time period. The ratings champ at 10 00 p.m. was CBS's The Mentalist with 14.61 million viewers.
