The cast of the new The Amityville Horror movie were left terrified by a series of sinister events on the film's set.
Melissa George, Ryan Reynolds, and Philip Baker Hall all star in the remake of the 1979 account of a family (The LUTZs) haunted by the murdered previous inhabitants of their Long Island, New York state home - supposedly a true story.
And they were all left shaken when the movie set turned into a crime scene of its own.
George says, "We were, after all, re-enacting a true story, and there were a couple of weird events that happened. On day five of filming the real KATHY LUTZ passed away which made me feel a little nervous, and in the fourth week of filming a dead body surfaced in the lake outside the boathouse where we were filming."08/04/2005 14:06
