The 2 Bears' latest single, Work, will be released on January 2nd 2012 and is taken from their anticipated debut album, Be Strong, which will be released on January 30th, 2012, through Southern Fried/ DFA Records. Upon its release, Work will also come with remixes from Toddla T; Supabeatz; Franky Rizardo and Oliver $.
The video for Work was directed by Zaiba Jabbar and was filmed in Brixton, South London. Various members of the community go about their working day as normal, while The 2 Bears themselves go to the barbers for a shave.
The 2 Bears' - Raf Rundell, aka Raf Daddy and Hot Chip member Joe Goddard - previous single, Bear Hug, was released in the summer of 2011 and received huge support from DJs such as Nick Grimshaw; Kissy SellOut; Fearne Cotton and Annie Mac. The 2 Bears also embarked on a successful tour of the UK and Europe throughout August and September 2011. Be Strong is also tipped to be one of the best debuts of 2012.
The duo have just signed to DFA Records in the US.
