Actor Terrence Howard is seriously considering an early retirement from the movie industry because he is struggling to find new projects that really pique his interest.
The star, who earned an Oscar nomination for his role in 2005's Hustle & Flow, is only 43 but admits he is ready to step away from the spotlight and simply enjoy his life, instead of taking on similar roles to ones he has played in the past.
Howard tells GQ magazine, "I'm thinking about running away! I asked Sidney Poitier if he was going to act again. He said, if he's lucky, he may have 10 years left in his life and he doesn't want to spend them doing an impersonation of himself...
"I've played a good 70 roles. Unless I can find something new and worth exploring, I don't really take too much delight in repeating some glory days."
