Taylor Swift has chosen British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran to join her during her North American tour next year after the pair duetted on her new album 'Red'.
The country star and British singer-songwriter collaborated on her track 'Everything Has Changed' for her new album 'Red' and the pair are so close that Taylor wants Ed to join her for all 45 shows in her tour next year.
Ed, 21, confirmed the news and shared his excitement with his followers on Twitter, posting: ''Happy to announce that I am special guest on @taylorswift13's tour of North America next year, cannot wait!!
''9 stadiums and 36 arenas. Gonna be bonks (sic).''
Taylor has described the 'Lego House' singer as one of her ''favourite people in the world'' and recently revealed that fans can expect more collaborations between them in the future.
The 22-year-old blonde said: ''We had both reached out to each other's camps at the same time. I showed up at his hotel in Arizona and we just wrote songs all day.
''Then he came and hung out at my house in Los Angeles and we spent all night sitting on the kitchen floor laughing, writing songs and harmonising.
''We have made other songs and we will put them out at different times.''
Ed is currently touring the UK and revealed his plans to wear a costume for his show in Nottingham on Halloween, adding: ''I'm gonna dress up in costume for the gig, I hope all of you do too (sic)''.
