Taylor Swift has kicked off 2013 as she ended 2012 - with America's number one album.
Red spends a seventh non-consecutive week at the top of the Billboard 200 with end of year sales of 241,000 for the last week.
Swift has now spent a total of 24 weeks at number one on the countdown throughout her career, tying her with Adele as the woman with the most weeks at the top since the new era of the Billboard 200 began in 1991.
And she's destined to make that feat all her own next week - Red is expected to stay at number one, despite the success of the Les Miserables soundtrack, which has rocketed up the chart from 33 to two.
One Direction's Take Me Home, Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox and Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head by T.I. round out the first top five of the New Year.
