Taylor Swift gets distracted by fans' homemade signs at her shows.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' star finds her followers' hand-painted tributes ''adorable'' but while she's reading them frequently loses concentration on her lyrics.

She told The Sun newspaper: ''It's amazing and adorable, but if there's a really long sign and I'm trying to read it while I'm on stage I'll start singing the lines of the sign.

''They're all kind of a little strange. Sometimes there are giant signs of my cat's face. I look out and there's a giant cat.''

Taylor, 23, is currently on her Red Tour of North America with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who duets on her latest single 'Everything Has Changed', and he hopes they find the time to write another song while they're on the road together.

He said: ''My second album has taken shape recently. I don't know if there will be any collaborations on it. With Taylor? You never know, I'm on tour with her for six months. I'm sure the guitars will come out at some point.''

The Red Tour will continue in the US and Canada until the end of September, before heading to New Zealand and Australia in November.
