Taylor Swift Dedicated A Song To Actress Jaime King's Newborn Son During Her Concert In California Over The Weekend (15-16aug15).
The Shake It Off hitmaker met her godson Leo Thames last month (Jul15) and it inspired her to add Never Grow Up, a song from her hit 2010 album Speak Now, to her setlist in his honour.
Introducing the track, she told the audience in Santa Clara, "I was thinking maybe tonight since you're amazing, I was thinking I would do a song I've never sung on this tour before... I wrote it when I was like 18 or 19, but my friend just had a baby and she made me godmother of it and I was holding this little baby the other night, and I was just thinking differently. When you're holding onto something that's so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what's coming for it with the world (sic). The world is going to throw so many things at you as you grow up. It make me think of this song I wrote."
King responded to the concert footage on Twitter.com, writing, "This is so beautiful Tay - Leo Thames is so blessed."
Leo is King's second child with her director husband Kyle Newman.
