Taylor Swift, the American country star currently performing on her sold-out 'Speak Now' tour, claims the Hollywood actress Emma Stone is like "a sister" to her. Swift, one of the biggest selling female artists in America, says she is thankful to have such "amazing" friends.
The singer, who scooped six 'surfboard' trophies at the recent Teen Choice Awards, sat down with PopSugar's radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O to reveal her celebrity friends. Taylor said, "My friends are amazing and I'm so thankful to have them, [but] the ones that are like sisters to me are Selena Gomez and Emma Stone . . . They can predict my thoughts; I've known them for so long it's really cool to have friends that are that close". After one listener queried why Swift has lyrics written along her arm during shows, the singer explained, "It's kind of like a mood ring: it's what I'm listening to at the moment, or what I'm feeling at the moment, or whatever lyric I'm relating to at the moment". The country star hit the headlines last week after performing a unique cover of Eminem's hit track 'Lose Yourself'.
Swift continues her 'Speak Now' tour with four shows in Los Angeles later this month, before performing in Portland, Nashville, Dallas, Miami and Tampa. She wraps up the dates on 22nd November 2011 in New York City.
