The 24 year-old country music star chose to spend the holiday weekend with her closest friends, which included several famous faces.
Taylor Swift knows how to make the most of a holiday weekend.
The 24 year-old singer and many of her celebrity friends seem to have had one of the most amusing Fourth of July weekends imaginable, and it was documented on social media for all to see.
Swift showed off just how many big stars are her close pals in an Instagram picture captioned "family portrait," which included the likes of Emma Stone, Lena Dunham and Jamie King.
While nine of the ten females are smiling for the snapshot, shared on Sunday (July 6th), Dunham can be seen flipping the bird while pulling a rather funny face.
The actress also took to Twitter to express what the weekend of celebrations mean to her, posting, "4th of July is my Coachella."
Other familiar faces included in the portrait are indie pop singer Ingrid Michaelson, Canadian model Jessica Stam, Australian model Amanda Griffith and Jessica Szohr, who appeared in Swift's music video for '22.'
Griffiths also shared the group shot on Instagram, but hers was taken from a different angle and it actually shows Dunham cracking a smile.
"The happiest weekend #familyportrait," the photo's caption read.
During the evening King shared a video of the girls getting into the festive mood by using sparklers to celebrate the holiday weekend. "Battling the elements... Happy Fouth!!!" she wrote.
Stam also posted a pic of herself, Swift, Szohr and Griffith in their bathing suits while catching the sun in some poolside chairs.
But unfortunately the weather wasn't on their side too long as it began to rain, however Swift figured out the perfect pastime on a rainy day.
"When the 4th of July gives you nonstop rain, make a giant slip n slide," she said.
