Actor Taylor Kitsch recalls his past sleeping rough on the New York City subway as he struggled to find his way in the entertainment industry in his early 20s. He finally landed his big break in 2006 when he was cast in TV drama series Friday Night Lights.

The threesome will join Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins and Willem Dafoe in the Disney film, which chronicles a Civil War veteran's mysterious transportation to Mars.

Dafoe, who last played the GREEN GOBLIN on the big screen in 2007, will play loveable green Martian warrior TARS TARKAS alongside Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins in upcoming Disney film JOHN CARTER OF MARS.

Fact: X-MEN ORIGINS: Wolverine co-stars Lynn Collins and Taylor Kitsch are to reteam for WALL-E director Andrew Stanton's new movie JOHN CARTER OF MARS. The Disney film follows a damaged U.S. Civil War veteran who mysteriously finds himself on Mars. Kitsch will play the title character, while Collins will play the Princess of Mars.
