Tamera Mowry Housley is expecting her first child, People magazine has announced today. The news comes just ten months after sister, Tia Mowry gave birth to her own baby. Talking to the magazine, she said "Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends" and added "we can't wait to meet our little miracle."
Adam Housley is a Fox network news correspondent. He and Tamera will be welcoming their first baby into the world in November. It's not been plain sailing for Tamera, though, as she explains "the first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness - more like evening sickness. Luckily it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now - more like myself." Although Tamera and Adam tied the knot last year, the news of the pregnancy will probably still come as a shock to some of their fans, as they made it clear at the time that babies were not on the cards for them, immediately.
Apparently it was a trip to Africa that caused a change of heart in the two of them. "It's just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter," Tamera explained. "Adam and I looked at each other and said, 'Why wait?'"
