The former members of British boyband Take That will reunite for a Christmas television special charting their careers, almost 10 years after the group split.

Take That, who devastated fans when they split in February 1996 after selling nine million albums, have agreed to a one-off show which will chronicle their rise and fall.

Robbie Williams is the only former band member to have sustained a successful solo career since leaving the group.

Songwriter Gary Barlow has written numerous hits for other artists, while Mark Owen fleetingly regained fame after winning hit UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.
