Former Take That member Mark Owen was miserable during his time in the band - because he always felt like he was bottom of the pile and had little self-confidence.

The British group, who enjoyed a string of hits including RELIGHT MY FIRE and BACK FOR GOOD during the 1990s, made Owen feel small and unappreciated.

He says, "In a band like this it becomes about pecking order.

"It's like dogs - you get your chief dog and you all find your little place.

"My pecking order was, in my head, lower to the bottom."
