Rapper T-Pain is appalled by hip-hop's homophobic, insisting some artists have refused to work with openly gay singer Frank Ocean because of his sexuality.

The Novacane hitmaker 'came out' in a candid post on his Tumblr.com page in 2012, and although a host of stars, including Beyonce and rapper/actress Eve, applauded Ocean for his bravery, T-Pain reveals there are still a number of male rappers who have no interest in collaborating with the Grammy-winning musician - and it has nothing to do with the quality of his work.

In an interview with VladTv.com, he stops short of naming and shaming those in question, but says, "I think the radio is getting more gay-friendly. I don't think urban music is getting more gay-friendly because if that was the case, Frank Ocean would be on a lot more songs.

"I know n**gas that will not do a song with Frank Ocean just because he gay, but they need him on the f**king song and that's so terrible to me, man."
