TI was at a local radio station telling listeners he was going to be out in Lil' Flip's nearby neighbourhood of Cloverland, and when the rapper and his crew finally arrived in the area, Flip and his entourage confronted them, prompting a fight.
TI, real name CLIFFORD HARRIS JR, claims he has the whole incident - which resulted in no serious injuries or arrests - on tape, as he was filming a documentary at the time.
He recently told Atlanta, Georgia radio station 107.9, "(Lil' Flip) was walking behind the car and I'm walking up to him trying to beg him to come out from behind the car, so we can get a square deal going. He sent somebody from behind and they hit me in the back of the head.
"I don't say things, I do things. If I say things, I do things. I came to show my face and my tape. I showed them the tape, I showed them what happened and they've seen it."
During the interview, TI explained that their verbal feud became physical after Lil' Flip, real name WESLEY WESTON, allegedly threatened TI's son on a mixtape.
He added, "If you're not willing to die, or kill about the things you say (and) disrespect me, my family and my loved ones, then you might as well leave me alone."29/03/2005 08:58
