A painting by late Pink Floyd star SYD BARRETT has been returned to a gallery in London after a thief stole it from an exhibition.
The canvas self-portrait, completed in the early 1960s before the rocker found fame, was on display at the Idea Generation gallery when it went missing on Saturday (09Apr11).
Barrett's former girlfriend, Libby Gausden, appealed for information on its whereabouts and a reward of $3,200 (£2,000) was offered for its safe return.
And on Wednesday (13Apr11) it emerged the artwork has now been sent back to gallery bosses.
A spokeswoman for Idea Generation tells WENN, "It has been returned to us anonymously safe and sound."
