Susan Boyle will celebrate turning 50-years-old with a party at her home in West Lothian, Scotland, tonight (1st April 2011).
The singing sensation, who became a global superstar in 2009, has been receiving a host of birthday greetings from celebrities and fans today, reports the Scottish Daily Record.X Factor mogul Simon Cowell led the birthday wishes ahead of Boyle's exclusive party tonight, saying, "Happy 50th birthday, Susan. You are an amazing lady and I hope you have a fantastic day". 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden joked about her colleague Piers Morgan, saying, "Enjoy the party! I'm sorry to hear Piers couldn't fly over to jump out of the cake. But then again, he would only eat it all if he did". Thousands of Boyle's fans from across the globe have been taking to their Twitter and Facebook pages to wish the star a happy birthday and Susan herself says she is not worried about the milestone age, saying, "I'm looking forward to turning 50. There's not much I can do about it but I'm happy to be reaching this birthday".
After the enormous success of her 2009 debut album 'I Dreamed A Dream' and the follow up 'The Gift', Susan Boyle returned to the studio to begin work on her highly anticipated third album.
