Britain's Got Talent's biggest star (after Simon Cowell of course) Susan Boyle has announced that she is to go on a mini tour of her native Scotland this summer, promising to head on a global tour should the shows be a success. In addition to heading out on her first ever solo tour, the singer is also eyeing up a residency in Las Vegas following her stint on the road.

SuBo has never been on tour by herself in the four years since she first achieved fame, but she intends to change that this summer when she headlines the Susan Boyle In Concert in July. The tour will continue throughout the month, beginning in Inverness before moving to Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh. In a statement release with the information of her tour, the 52-year-old Blackburn, West Lothian-native said: “If this works well, then the world is my oyster and 2014 will be a global tour."

According to the Daily Mirror, as well as her solo tour the singer is also planning on a move to Las Vegas to start a residency in a multi-million dollar deal. The newspaper's inside source revealed: “Las Vegas is one of the ultimate spots for a performer to play and a residency is a huge deal, but then Susan is a big star who’s sold more than 19 million albums.”

The singer's Vegas deal hasn't been confirmed yet, but the terms are likely to be decided upon when the singer has decided on the details of her world tour. Tickets for the Scotland dates go on sale on Friday.
