Susan Boyle and Lady GaGa are to do battle at the Grammy Awards.

The Scottish singer - who has recently confessed she would like to work with Rihanna - has been nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category at the 2011 Grammy Awards for her debut 'I Dreamed a Dream' alongside Lady Gaga for her second LP 'The Fame Monster'.

Katy Perry's album 'Teenage Dream', Justin Bieber's 'My World 2.0' and John Mayer's 'Battle Studies' complete the category.

Susan came to world-wide recognition following her performance of the 'Les Miserables' song 'I Dreamed a Dream' during a 'Britain's Got Talent' audition and has since gone on to sell nine million copies of her first album worldwide.

Her second album, 'The Gift' hit the top spot in the UK album charts upon its release in November 2010.

Despite her world-wide success, she is only up for one Grammy nomination, with Eminem setting the lead with ten possible awards.
