Veteran stars Depeche Mode are a new entry at number four with PRECIOUS, while Sean Paul is at number five with WE BE BURNIN'.

Meanwhile, Franz Ferdinand go straight in at the top of the albums chart with their sophomore effort YOU COULD HAVE IT SO MUCH BETTER, knocking Katie Melua's PIECE BY PIECE down to number two.

James Blunt's BACK TO BEDLAM sits at number three, while David Gray's LIFE IN SLOW MOTION is at number four.

KT Tunstall's EYE TO THE TELESCOPE remains at number five.
