Fiesty threesome Sugababes have knocked burlesque troupe Pussycat Dolls back to second place in the British singles chart to make PUSH THE BUTTON their fourth UK number one.

Pop Idol rejects Liberty X enlisted the help of REVEREND RUN to clinch the second highest new entry, with SONG 4 LOVERS slotting in at number five.

Kanye West's GOLD DIGGER slipped two spaces to number four, while Sean Paul's WE BE BURNIN' stayed at number three.

Other new entries to make the top 10 included Russian duo Tatu with ALL ABOUT US at number eight, and Charlotte Church with CALL MY NAME at number 10.

Meanwhile, in the album charts Katie Melua's second LP PIECE BY PIECE went straight to number one, pushing David Gray's SLOW MOTION into second place.
