Pop group Sugababes and former Spice Girls star Melanie Chisholm are to perform songs from hit West End musicals as part of a charity telethon.
They will join Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter Andre and singer-turned-reality TV star Stacey Solomon as part of British fundraiser Children in Need next month (Sep11).
Sugababes will join the cast of Mamma Mia! for a rendition of Dancing Queen, Chisholm will perform We Are The Champions in Queen-themed show We Will Rock You, Andre will sing Unchained Melody in Ghost The Musical, and Solomon will appear in Wicked to sing For Good.
In a statement, the Push the Button hitmakers say, "We're so excited to be part of Bbc Children in Need this year. It's such a great cause and helps so many people and to be able to join the cast of Mamma Mia!, one of the West End's most famous musicals, is a real honour for us."
Chisholm adds, "I have always been a huge Queen fan and standing on the stage of the Dominion Theatre to sing one of the band's anthems is an absolute honour and a great way raise money for such a fantastic charity."
The Children in Need telethon fundraiser takes place in November (11). Tickets for the musicals are available from the Children in Need website.
