Nick Douwma may not be a name that is hanging on everybody's lips right now, however his alter ego Sub Focus has long been dwelling on the minds of conscious electronic music fans. A follow up single to the smash hit 'Falling Down,' Sub Focus is looking to capitalise on the huge success he experienced with his last single with the ready made Summer anthem 'Out The Blue' featuring Alice Gold. Having experience the type of exposure usually reserved for the likes of Rihanna, with 'Falling Down' gathering over seventy plays on Radio One alone since its release earlier this year, Douwma looks set to further tighten his grip on electronic music.
Rising through the ranks along side fellow drum & bass contemporaries Chase & Status and Pendulum, Sub Focus has become a major force both inside and out of the drum & bass genre. Much of this success can be owed to his phenomenal live sets that lit up festivals and arenas throughout last year and looks to be continuing this trend again having headlined his largest show to date on March 2nd at the O2 Academy in Brixton.
'Out The Blue' will feature on the sophomore release from Sub Focus that is as yet untitled still and will be released in Autumn 2012 through Ram/Mercury Records.
