Stuart Manning has won immunity from the first 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' eviction.

The former 'Hollyoaks' star was rewarded with a place in the luxury Base Camp - bringing with it the right to escape the first public vote - after winning a Bush Battle between the rest of Exile Camp.

Group leader Lucy Benjamin was first out of the challenge - which saw celebrities have to stop water leaking from a tube with their hands - after the other contestants failed to honour a pact to let go of the pole at the same time.

Sam Fox was out next, followed by Kim Woodburn and Gino D'Acampo, before competitive George - who had said he would quit but refused to move his hands - finally let go.

He said: "Oh I can't take another minute of it, oh my god, oh this hurts so bad. I think I'm going to have to give up right now.'"

After emerging victorious, Stuart was allowed to make his way back to Base Camp, leaving the rest of the group in basic conditions.

Meanwhile, over at Base Camp singer Sabrina Washington defended 'Hollyoaks' actor Stuart when former heavyweight boxer Joe Bugner dismissed his chances of success in the US.

Joe said: "He's going to America? I hope he's got a lot of money. What I'm saying is if you're going to try and land a position in America today then you live this lifestyle or you don't make it at all."

Sabrina hit back, saying: "That's true but at the end of the day nothing's impossible. If you have a dream and you pursue the only time you fail is when you stop."

Joe later commented that he wasn't trying to offend anyone with his remarks.
