Stuart Manning has turned down Sabrina Washington's request for a date following 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!', saying they are only friends.
Ex-Mis-Teeq singer Sabrina said she was hoping to take former 'Hollyoaks' actor Stuart on a date to fast food outlet Kentucky Fried Chicken, but despite their flirty three weeks in the jungle, he has said there's no change of romance between them.
Stuart - who was voted out of the show last night (02.12.09) - said in an interview with ITV's GMTV morning show: "Everyone thinks it was a little bit more but it's not - we're just friends. Sorry.
"I really enjoyed her company we're at the same age bracket, and we had good chats, that's all it was."
Stuart's words are bound to come as a shock to Sabrina, who has gushed about the soap hunk since she was voted off the show on Tuesday night (01.12.09).
She told The Sun newspaper: "A candle-lit supper would be nice, but a trip to KFC would be even better.
"We both love KFC and Snickers bars. We love junk food."
She added she was hoping for a date outside of the show.
She added: "Anything could happen. Stuart looks good, he's fantastic-looking.
"I'm an old-fashioned girl, and I'm hoping he's going to call me up when he gets out of the jungle."
Despite their on-screen flirting, a relative claimed earlier this week Stuart already has a girlfriend back in the UK.
