Yoko Ono - Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon And Cat Power Join Online School As Virtual Teacher

Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon and Cat Power have thrown their support behind the creators of an online school's Kickstarter.com campaign by volunteering to become "virtual teachers."

The School Of Doodle is described as a "peer-to-peer, self-directed learning lab dedicated to activating girls' imaginations through entertainment, education and community."

It has garnered the support of singers Courtney Love, Pussy Riot and Sia and now Ono, Gordon and Power have joined musician JD Samson and others as "teachers."

They have also donated "doodles" which will be used as rewards for users who have pledged funds to the project.

Organisers behind the campaign have raised $47,306 (Gbp27,827) towards the goal of $75,000 (Gbp44,117) a month until their deadline.
