Tim Burton - Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter's Home At The Centre Of Radioactive Pipe Drama
Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter's garden in Sutton Courtenay, England has become the scene of a real-life drama after officials discovered there was radioactive pipe running under their historic home.
The waste pipe, which discharged diluted chemical and radioactive components from Harwell's Atomic Energy Research Establishment into the Thames, will be removed as part of a clean-up campaign over the coming months.
Experts insisted the filmmaker and his actress wife were not in any danger - because the pipe, which was decommissioned earlier this year (13) and is no longer in use, contained low levels of radioactivity.
Burton and Bonham Carter moved in to the Grade-Ii listed building in 2006. It was once owned by her great-grandfather, former Prime Minister Herbert Asquith, according to the Bbc.
