The Wanted - The Wanted: We Own the Night video was fun

The Wanted's Nathan Sykes says the band's aimed to make their 'We Own The Night' video fun.

The boy band revealed their latest promo yesterday (12.08.13) and the singer was glad they got their friends to appear with them for the shoot.

He told MTV News: ''We shot it in London, we just hired out a pub and got a load of friends and lot of people we know and had a lot of fun that day.

''We like to have fun on our videos. We don't like doing videos that are boring.''

Nathan added the group - completed by Max George, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran - were also trying to recreate the feel of their 2011 hit 'Glad You Came'.

He said: ''The video we really just wanted to go back to being The Wanted and have a video along the lines of 'Glad you Came', which is all about having a lot of fun with a load of good-looking girls, which is awesome.

''And we wanted to make it like the local pub ... It's a real fun video. We all worked really hard to make sure it's a video we wanted and I think we've got it. It's a lot of fun.''
